#FureverMemories

A Social Media Campaign Proposal for BARCS.

Instagram Strategy:

The purpose of the campaign is to get members of the community to attend the “Fur-Ever Photos” event. BARCS will do this by utilizing Instagram through the use of the hashtag #Furevermemories. BARCS will highlight the upcoming event with a photo carousel showcasing seasonal photo booth setups and pets posing with props. BARCS will share a carousel of past adoption success stories with the hashtag #FureverMemories to inspire followers to participate and share their own experiences. BARCS will also Create a series of countdown stories leading up to the event, featuring sneak peeks of photo booths, calendars, and staff preparing for the big day. The stories will have call to action prompts such as “learn more” which will lead to a webpage on the BARCS website that will hold all event details and our event schedule. All past adopters who participate in the #FureverMemories hashtag will receive two photos of their choosing for free during the event.

TikTok Strategy:

The purpose of the campaign is to get members of our community to post their experience and bring awareness to the “Fur-Ever Photos” event by utilizing the hashtag #Furevermemories on TikTok. This will go hand and hand with the hashtag used during our Instagram campaign. BARCS will use TikTok to take short videos of the different photo booths and prop set up areas.  BARCS will use adoption story features to increase awareness of the event and our adoption agency. BARCS will take short form videos highlighting the people attending the event. We will take videos of people highlighting their experiences of adopting in the past and of new adopters from the event. BARCS will also encourage followers to create TikTok’s featuring their pets doing things such as tricks, wearing costumes, or having adorable moments, using the hashtag #FureverMemoriesChallenge. All people who participate in the #FureverMemoriesChallenge hashtag will be entered into a raffle to receive free BARCS shirts; there will be five winners selected.
